I am a kiwi national and current long time hackney local who grew up on a farm but now prefers flowers and shrubs to grass and sheep. i’ve taken a PERMANENT break from being stuck behind a city desk to get back out in the open and put my hands back in the dirt.

following completion of the CHELSEA Physic gardening course to reignite my skills, I have been professionaly gardening for the last three years, while spending one day a week HELPING the fantastic gardening team at Inner temple gardens.

i see some gorgeous spaces in hackney but also some plots that need a little love. rather than focus on expensive projects, i like to help normal people enjoy THEIR normal london gardens, whether that's by simply clearing weeds to create space and light, adding containers and pots to brighten and soften hard surfaces or help plant gardens that are easy to manage while looking beautiful. all of which does not need to include expensive design and continuous intervention.
